Phlebotomy service at the practice

We have a limited amount of Phlebotomy Services (Blood Tests) at the Surgery. If you are advised that you need bloods, then you will be redirected to the drive thru, or to the Hallamshire Hospital. A text message with all the information can be sent to you. *More info below.

The new blood drive through started on 5th July 2021, the drive through service at City Parkway will be open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.15pm (excluding Bank Holidays) and Saturday, 8am to 1pm.

Before you attend, please ensure your doctor has placed an order on the system or you have a relevant request form. If you do have it please bring your hospital number with you and have this ready for the phlebotomist as this will make it easier to find you on the computer system.

The drive-through service will be operating in addition to the C floor phlebotomy service at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital which is open Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:20pm and Saturdays, 8am – 1pm.
